We have a team of 15 members who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by one of the Senior Partners, namely Mr. Mirani, Mr. Saeed, Mr Islam and Mr Faisal.

 

OUR TEAM

 

Mr Abdul Razzaque Mirani

Barrister / Consultant / Senior Partner

 

Mr Mirani qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in June 2009.  Also qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Republic of Ireland in 2014.

After that in 2018, Mr Mirani qualified as a Barrister at Law from The Honorable Society of King’s Inns and was Called to the Bar by the Chief Justice, Supreme Court of the Republic of Ireland.

Mr Mirani then qualified as a Barrister of England and Wales and was Called to the Bar in March 2019.

 

Mr Mirani has been a Senior Partner in Abbott Solicitors since 2012 and presently working as a Barrister / Consultant.

 

Mr Mirani has also worked in a reputed Law Firm in UAE as Legal Advisor from 1995 till 2006 when he moved to the UK.

 

Apart from English, Mr Mirani knows Arabic, Urdu and Sindhi languages.

The hourly rate of Mr Mirani is £255.00

Mr Adnan Saeed

Barrister / Consultant / Senior Partner

 

Mr Adnan Saeed qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2011 as well as admitted as a Solicitor by the Law Society of the Republic of Ireland in 2015. In 2018 he qualified as a Barrister at Law from The Honorable Society of King’s Inns and was Called to the Bar by Chief Justice, Supreme Court of the Republic of Ireland.

 

Mr Saeed is also a qualified Barrister of England and Wales and Called to the Bar in March 2019.

 

He has also completed Judicial Work Shadowing Scheme at the Principal Registry of the Family Division in 2015. The Judicial Work Shadowing Scheme gives eligible legal practitioners, who are considering a career in judicial office, an insight into the work of a judge.

 

Mr Saeed has been with Abbott Solicitors since 2012 as a Solicitor and has also been working as a Barrister/Consultant in Abbott Solicitors, he is also Head of EU Immigration and Head of PI Department and also supervises cases of Registration as a British Citizen, he is also responsible for the drafting of Grounds of Appeals, Skeleton Arguments, attending case management hearing and substantive hearings.

 

The experience and expertise he has in his professional portfolio, have always allowed him to conduct cases in the rest of the European countries along with his colleagues from the relevant jurisdictions.

 

He is also a member of the Honorable Society of Kings Inns and had been Admitted to the Degree of Barrister-at-Law by Benchers of the Society and was called to the Bar of Ireland by the Chief Justice in Michaelmas term 2018 and thereupon was made an Ordinary Member of the honorable Society of the Kings Inns.

 

Mr Saeed has also been practicing as a Solicitor of England & Wales and a Solicitor in the Republic of Ireland and has exercised Higher Rights of Audience.

 

He has completed the Academic and Vocational stages of training for the Bar & was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2019 to work as a dual-capacity Barrister. He is working as a full-time Dual Capacity Barrister with Abbott Solicitors and Luton Chambers in the United Kingdom.

 

Mr Saeed has appeared in the Court of Appeal and other Courts & Tribunal in a number of different cases to represent his clients. Apart from English, Mr Saeed knows Urdu, Hindi, Hindko, Punjabi, Pushto & Sindhi languages. The hourly rate of Mr Saeed is £255.00.

 

Mr Abid Islam

Solicitor Advocate / Senior Partner

 

Mr Islam qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in September 2009 and qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in October 2019.

Mr Abid Islam is a senior immigration practitioner with over 12 years of experience. He conducts almost leading work at all levels: The Supreme Court, The Court of Appeal, The Administrative Court and in the Upper Tribunal in statutory appeals and Judicial Reviews, Appeals in First Tier Tribunal and administrative reviews to the Home Office. He has very substantial immigration and asylum experience in his FTT, UT, High Court and appellate court practice.

He conducts the cases involving ‘unduly harsh’ exceptional circumstances, all point-based system cases, spouse visas, visits visas, asylum and humanitarian protection, cases involving children’s best interest in the Leave to remain, Leave to enter, discretionary leave, detention cases and deportation appeals.

 

His work has been, to date, predominantly privately funded cases. Mr Islam also does publicly funded immigration work at all levels.

 

Mr Islam also practices in all aspects of Housing Law, Landlord and Tenant law. As a member of the civil team, Mr Islam conducts a comprehensive range of cases with particular emphasis on housing-related matters and public law aspects of housing law. In this regard, his practice comprises all areas of housing law including possession claims, injunctions, anti-social behavior orders, housing disrepair, unlawful eviction, homelessness cases, Abid undertakes work against local authorities, housing associations, other public sector landlords, private landlords and has experience and expertise in representing the tenant.

Mr Islam’s family work includes Matrimonial and Family dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown including Divorce, Children matters including Residence, Contact, Parental Responsibility, Care Proceedings/Disputes, and financial issues arising from breakdown.

Mr Islam has also worked voluntarily at the citizens' advice bureau as an advisor and other charities.

Mr Islam has a wide range of clients from the wealthy to those on a low income.

 

Mr Islam was also working as Judicial Officer (Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate) KPK, Pakistan.

 

Apart from English Mr Islam is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and also knows Pushto as well.

Mr Islam’s Hourly Rate is £255.00 per hour.

Mr Faisal Mehmood

Barrister / Consultant / Mediator / Senior Partner

 

Mr Mehmood qualified as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2008. Mr Mehmood also qualified as Barrister of England and Wales and Called to the Bar in 2018 Mr Mehmood is also a qualified Mediator.

Being the Head of the Family Department Mr Mehmood is responsible for the following:

  1. Matrimonial and Family dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown including Divorce.

  2. Children matters including Residence, Contact, Parental Responsibility.

  3. Care Proceedings/Disputes, and financial issues arising from a breakdown.

Before this Mr Mehmood was working as Judicial Officer (Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate) KPK, Pakistan. Mr Mehmood is Senior Partner in Abbott Solicitors since 2012 and presently working as a Barrister / Consultant and he is the Head of the Family Department.

 

Apart from English Mr Mehmood knows Urdu and Punjabi and Pushto.

Hourly rate of Mr Mahmood is: £217.00

Mr Asim Mustafa

Solicitor / Partner

 

Mr Mustafa is qualified as a Solicitor of the Superior Courts since 2018.

Mr Mustafa is handling PI cases especially Road Traffic Accidents, Employers' Liability, Trips and Slips/Falls.

Mr Mustafa’s hourly rate is: In line with his experience, his charges are £218.00 an hour for Personal injury and litigation matters.

 

Ms Nageena Choudhry

Solicitor

 

Ms Choudhry qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and currently heads the conveyancing Team at Abbott Solicitors. She is well-versed in all aspects of conveyancing commercial and residential areas of law and she has been practicing since 2003.

 

In addition to conveyancing, Nageena has practiced civil litigation and personal injury for over 15 years. In line with her experience, her charges are £255.00 an hour for litigation matters.

 

Ms Elona Onibere

Solicitor

 

Ms Onibere is qualified as a Solicitor since 2011 and she has been working in the Housing Department at Abbott Solicitors since 2020 and is handling all types of housing matters. In line with her experience, her charges are £250.00 an hour for Housing matters.

 

Mr Mohammed Awais Ali

Trainee Solicitor

 

Mr Mohammed Awais Ali is working as a Trainee Solicitors at Abbott Solicitors. He is working at Abbott Solicitors since July 2019 and he is assisting the Immigration Team as well as the PI & Family Teams.

Miss Amna Farooq

Paralegal

 

Miss Amna Farooq has been working as a Paralegal at Abbott Solicitors since 2021 and she is assisting the Immigration and Family Team.

Ms Shuhela Begum

Paralegal

 

Ms Shuhela Begum is working as a Paralegal at Abbott Solicitors since June 2022 and she is assisting the Immigration, Family and Benefit matters Team.

Ms Dilrua Dassanayake has been working as a Paralegal at Abbott Solicitors since 2023 and she is assisting the Immigration and Family Team.
